For my Advanced Digital Art class our assignment was to find an interesting portrait of a person and vectorize it using a stencil style similar to the Obama Hope poster
[link]I looked through a lot of different portraits, mostly J-rockers and cosplayers, and I finally decided to use Twinfools's Roxas cosplay pic "Daydreamer"
[link]I had a hard time choosing a color to use (Roxas doesn't have one theme color ¬_¬'' ), and in the end decided to use blue.
This was my first time vectorizing an image, and I had my fair share of headaches but overall I like how it turned out.
Any comments, critiques, suggestions, etc. would be greatly appreciated!!
done in Adobe Illustrator CS3 with a Wacom Bamboo tablet

Thanks, and the next project we did in that art class was making/cutting stencils for band posters. It was much fun
